Hi all – Long time, no blog! I’ve been busy in my new mad scientist role concocting dairy-free cheese varieties to rival (and surpass, if I may say so) the current vegan cheese on the market. At least here in the Northeast US, the options for cheese tend fall into the following categories: very high-priced fancy cultured nut cheeses and more affordable but rubbery/plastic-y shredded melting cheeses. This had been frustrating me, so I decided to take things into my own hands – I’ve turned Harvest Moon Kitchen into a cheese-making outfit, and my first line of cheeses are slicers / shredders / melters that make dairy-free easy and delicious.

If you’ve been here for a while, you may have noticed that I’ve changed the layout of the site since its humble blog beginnings. Read more about the varieties offered on THE CHEESE page and I will be adding to the WHERE TO BUY page as I get HMK cheeses into more local markets and delis.
I will continue to post, with a cheesier focus, and you can find all posts at THE BLOG. This is an exciting new adventure for me, and I’m so glad to have you along for the ride!
